Use of Personal Client Information

CU Auto Advocate may request personal information from you in order for us to communicate with you and for the purpose of completing the motor vehicle sale as required by places including, but not limited to, the selling dealer, leasing company, lending institution, insurance company, and the Department of Motor Vehicles for the state in which the vehicle(s) are titled. 

CU Auto Advocate DOES NOT sell or distribute information to a third party for use by the third party in conducting telemarketing services.  Any marketing campaigns we conduct with you as a result of us collecting your information will come directly from us, not from a third party service.  Credit Union partners of CU Auto Advocate may conduct marketing campaigns on our behalf by using their own data base of information, but CU Auto Advocate will not distribute information from its data base to such credit union partners in order to conduct such a campaign.

CU Auto Advocate may distribute information to a third party necessary for completion of the motor vehicle sale.  These third parties may include, but are not limited to the selling dealership, leasing company, lending institution, insurance company, and the Department of Motor Vehicles.

CU Auto Advocate may enter all or part of your information into a Customer Resource Management (CRM) data base for our own record keeping and in order for us to communicate with you directly by telephone, mail or e-mail, and as required by, but not limited to, the State of Minnesota, Department of Motor Vehicles and Driver and Vehicle Services.

Any distribution of your information by any third party including, but not limited to, the selling dealership, leasing company, lending institution, insurance company, the Department of Motor Vehicles, or by anyone they may distribute it to is out of our control and no promises are made at any time now or in the future as to how it is used or distributed by them.  You must contact these institutions yourself to review their privacy policies if you would like to prevent the unwanted use or distribution of your information by them.
